Jewellery is Passion

The heart motif is a favorite subject of jewelry making. It has been designed in many ways and materials but its purpose has always been to express love, affection and passion. The heart design seems to have been originally created to express love at the end of the Middle Ages and became very popular from the 15th and 16th centuries.

Probably its abstract shape comes from the ivy leaf, that was widely used in ancient Greece and through the Roman Catholic Church was established as a symbol of love and was associated with Saint Valentine.

And it was in 1977 that the city of New York, in a promotional campaign, replaced the word love with the logo “”, creating the famous “I NY” and from then on became the ultimate symbol of expressing love. This logo is used through messages, cards, letters, T- shirts and of course jewelry.

One of the main uses of jewelry is to express love and affection. And what better way to signify all those deep emotions than the heart motif whose shape alone suggests love.

Our studio gave a new dimension to the classic heart motif and created a completely geometric heart. Made of plated silver 925 with red garnets will express your love and passion. A timeless and truly special gift that can be given at special occasions such as engagements, anniversaries for expressing and symbolizing love, passion and devotion.
